| Class 1st to 5th (Primary Teacher) | Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks and hold a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), or a 4-year B.El.Ed, or a 2-year Diploma in Special Education. Candidates with 45% marks in Senior Secondary as per NCTE norms are also eligible. Graduates with B.Ed. (50% marks) can apply, provided they complete a 6-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education within two years of appointment. |
| Class 6th to 8th (Elementary Teacher) | Candidates must have Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, OR Graduation with 50% marks + 1-year B.Ed. (including Special Education), OR Graduation with 45% marks + 1-year B.Ed. as per NCTE norms. Senior Secondary (10+2) with 50% marks + 4-year B.El.Ed./B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. is also valid. Candidates in the final year of these courses are eligible to apply. |
