UPSC PCS Exam Conducted By

The UPSC Combined State Civil/Upper Subordinate Service (PCS) Exam is not conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Instead, the UPSC conducts national-level exams like the Civil Services Examination (CSE), Combined Defence Services (CDS), and others. The PCS (Provincial Civil Services) Exam is conducted by State Public Service Commissions for state-level administrative posts. For example:

Admit Card (e-Admit Card):

• Entry to the exam centre is strictly based on the e-Admit Card.
• Download it from

  upsc.gov.in as per the schedule in the official notice (expected before the Preliminary Exam on June 29, 2025).

• Admit cards will not be sent by post.
• If unable to download, contact the UPSC office in Haridwar on specified dates (check notice for details) with your application acknowledgement and a valid photo ID (e.g., Aadhaar, Voter ID).

Entry and Exit:

• Candidates must reach the exam centre by 09:30 AM.
• Entry closes at 10:30 AM; no entry is permitted thereafter.

Prohibited Items:
