RPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025 – Selection Process
The selection of candidates for RPSC Assistant Professor 2025 will be based on a Written Examination followed by an Interview. Special provisions are made for specially abled/disabled candidates to ensure equal opportunity.
1. Special Instructions for Scribe/Compensatory Time:
- Simply selecting the Persons with Disabilities/Specially Abled category in the online form does not guarantee dictation services; candidates must follow Commission instructions.
- Candidates bringing their own scribe must submit a medical certificate, undertaking by candidate and scribe, photo ID of scribe, and education proof at least one day before the exam.
- Candidates requesting a scribe from the Commission must submit a medical certificate and undertaking at least two days before the exam.
- Candidates with 40% or more disability (Blindness, Locomotor Disability, Cerebral Palsy) are eligible for a dictation writer on submission of medical certificate and undertaking.
- Candidates with less than 40% disability may also receive dictation and/or compensatory time on submission of approved certificates from Chief Medical Officer/Medical Superintendent.
- All certificates must reach the Commission at least two days prior to the exam.

3. Interview:
- The interview carries 24 marks.
- Only candidates meeting minimum qualifying marks in the written exam will be called for the interview.
- Minimum qualifying marks: 36% in each paper and 40% in aggregate.
- SC/ST candidates get a relaxation of 5% in minimum marks.
4. Syllabus:
The syllabus will be as specified by the Commission and communicated to candidates in due course.
5. Merit & Final Selection:
- Candidates are selected based on aggregate marks of written exam and interview.
- The Commission prepares a merit list and forwards it to the Government.
- Provisions exist for relaxation/concession for deserving candidates, ex-servicemen, and specially abled candidates.
6. OMR Answer Sheet Instructions:
- Each question has five options (1 to 5); mark only one circle with BLUE BALL POINT PEN.
- One option must be filled for each question.
- If skipping a question, mark circle ‘5’.
- Unmarked questions incur a penalty of 1/3 marks deduction.
- Candidates must verify that all questions are marked before submission.
- Extra 10 minutes allowed beyond scheduled time.
- Candidates leaving more than 10% questions unmarked will be disqualified.
