OFBF Apprentice Recruitment 2025

Short Information: Ordnance Factory Bhusawal (OFBH), a unit of Yantra India Limited under the Ministry of Defence, has released the OFBF Apprentice Notification 2025 for 46 posts. The recruitment is open for both Technician (Diploma) Apprentices and Graduate Apprentices in general streams including B.Sc., B.Com., and B.A.

Out of 46 vacancies, 06 posts are reserved for Technician (Diploma) Apprentices, while 40 posts are for Graduate Apprentices. This is a great opportunity for fresh diploma and graduate candidates aiming to gain hands-on experience in a prestigious government organization.

Educational Qualification of  OFBF Apprentice Recruitment 2025

• Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:

  • Candidates must have completed a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

  • The diploma should be from a recognized institute.

• Graduate Apprentices (General Streams):

  • Candidates must hold a graduate degree in B.Sc., B.Com., or B.A.

  • The degree should be from a recognized university.

• Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age: 14 years.

  • No Upper Age Limit: Anyone above 14 can apply.

  • Special Note: Candidates below 18 years must have a guardian sign the apprenticeship contract on their behalf.

• Gap Criteria (Education to Joining):

  • If there is a gap of more than 1 year between the year you passed your diploma/degree exam and the joining date of the apprenticeship, you must submit an affidavit explaining this gap.

OFBF Apprentice Selection Process 2025

• Preparation of Merit List

  • The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (Diploma/Degree).

• Tie-Breaker Rules

  • In case two or more candidates have the same marks, preference will be given in the following order:

    1. Candidate with higher age

    2. Candidate who passed Matriculation (10th) earlier

    3. Candidate as per alphabetical order of name

• Document & Police Verification

  • Shortlisted candidates must produce their documents for verification.

  • Police verification will also be mandatory.

• Medical Examination

  • Before final joining, candidates must undergo a medical fitness test.

• Mandatory NATS 2.0 Registration

  • All selected candidates must complete their registration on NATS 2.0 portal before the commencement of training.

• 10th & 12th Marksheet and Passing Certificates
• Diploma/Graduate All Semester Marksheets and Final Certificate

• Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (for OBC candidates)
• Disability/PH Certificate (if applicable)
• 3 Recent Passport Size Photographs
• Affidavit/Declaration as mentioned in the official notification
