Educational Qualification of MPPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025

Minimum Education:
Candidates should hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field such as Information Technology or Computer Applications. The degree must have been obtained with at least 55% marks from a recognized Indian university, or an equivalent degree from a reputed foreign university.
Essential Requirement:
Besides the master’s degree, candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or CSIR. Alternatively, clearing SLET/SET is acceptable, but only the SET exam conducted by Madhya Pradesh is valid. SET/SLET from other states will not be considered.
Exemption:
Candidates who hold a Ph.D. degree as per UGC 2009 regulations are exempted from the NET/SLET/SET requirement.
Relaxation:
Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC (Non-creamy layer), and PwD categories get a 5% relaxation in marks at the postgraduate level.

Selection Process of MPPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025

Written Examination:
The first stage is a written exam conducted in OMR-based objective format. This exam tests the candidate’s knowledge of Computer Science subjects, teaching aptitude, and related topics. Candidates need to score above the cut-off to qualify for the next stage.
Interview:
Candidates who pass the written exam are shortlisted for the interview. The number of candidates called will be up to three times the total vacancies in each category. The interview assesses teaching skills, subject knowledge, and overall suitability for the role.
