Indian Navy Recruitment 2025 Age Limit as per Government Rules  

• Minimum Age: 18 years (as on one day before the commencement date of the Technician (Vocational) Apprentice Program).
• Maximum Age: No upper age limit as per Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) guidelines (Office Memorandum No. F. No. MSDE-14(03)/2021AP-(PMU), dated 20 Dec 2021).

Indian Navy Recruitment 2025 Education Qualification 

• Minimum Educational Qualification: Matriculation (10th Pass)
• Additional Requirement: ITI passed in respective trades under NCVT or SCVT.
• Note: Eligible ITI trades for designated trades will be as per Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, as amended from time to time.

Eligibility Condition of Indian Navy Vacancy 2025

Nationality and Character

• Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply and be accepted into the Technician (Vocational) Apprentice Program for One Year – IT-02 Batch at NSRY (Sri Vijaya Puram).
• Candidates must not:
• Have been convicted of any offence,
• Be under trial, or
• Be in the process of being charge-sheeted or tried under Indian laws or educational institution regulations.
• Since NSRY (Sri Vijaya Puram) is a defence establishment, applications from candidates with questionable or suspicious antecedents will be summarily rejected without any prior notice.
• If police verification fails to provide a clean certificate, the selected candidature will be cancelled.

Shortlisting & Interview Process for Apprenticeship

The preliminary selection of candidates will be based on a merit list prepared trade-wise and category-wise, considering the aggregate percentage of marks obtained in ITI and Class 10th. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview (50 marks) to be held at Sri Vijaya Puram, where their technical skills will be assessed. Interview call letters will be sent via email after verification of documents including medical fitness.

The final merit list will be prepared by considering interview marks. In case of a tie, preference will be given based on date of birth (elder candidate preferred). If still tied, alphabetical order of the candidate’s name as per the Class 10th certificate will be used to decide merit.
