Short Information: The Indian Navy invites online applications at www.joinindiannavy.gov.in for various Group ‘B (NG)’ and Group ‘C’ posts, including staff nurse and chargeman (electrical, mechanical, ammunition, aviation, heat engine, electronics & more) across Eastern, Western & Southern Naval Commands. Posts fall under Level 6 & 7 Pay Matrix (₹35,400–₹142,400) as per 7th CPC. Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India. Only online forms are accepted. Candidates must meet eligibility criteria for respective posts. Apply before the deadline.

Indian Navy Group B & C Post Exam Conducted ByThe Indian Navy Group B & C Recruitment 2025 (INCET‑01/2025) examination is conducted directly by the Indian Navy through its official recruitment system. The selection process includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT) which is organized and monitored by the Indian Navy itself, not by any external agency like UPSC or SSC. The exam is conducted online through official portals such as joinindiannavy.gov.in and the designated INCET exam platform. After the CBT, shortlisted candidates undergo document verification and a medical examination as per naval standards. This entire process is centrally administered under the supervision of the Indian Navy’s recruitment authority. |

Exam Instruction
- No separate written exam will be conducted by UPSBCL. Selection is based solely on the GATE 2025 score.
- Candidates must have appeared in GATE 2025 in the relevant discipline:
- Civil Engineering (CE) for AE (Civil)
- Mechanical Engineering (ME) for AE (Mechanical)
- GATE 2025 is being conducted by IIT Roorkee, in collaboration with IISc and other IITs.
- Only valid GATE 2025 scores will be accepted. Scores from previous years are not valid.
- Make sure to enter your GATE registration number and scorecard details correctly in the online form.
- No interview or additional test will be conducted by UPSBCL.
- Final selection will be done through a GATE score-based merit list followed by document verification.
