IB SA Recruitment 2025 Qualification

  • Matriculation (10th class pass) or equivalent from a recognized Board of Education, and
  • Possession of a domicile certificate of that State against which the candidate has applied.
  • Knowledge of any one of the local languages.

IB Security Assistant Executive Selection Process 2025

The selection process for the Intelligence Bureau (IB) Security Assistant/Executive post will be conducted in three stages to assess candidates thoroughly for the role:

Tier I – Objective Test (CBT)
This is a computer-based test consisting of multiple-choice questions. It evaluates the candidate’s knowledge in the following areas:

  • General Awareness
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Logical/Analytical Ability
  • English Language
    Marks obtained in Tier I will be considered for the final merit list.

Tier II – Descriptive Test
This stage tests the candidate’s writing ability and knowledge of the local language or dialect of the region they are applying for.

  • Translation/local language test
    Note: Tier II is qualifying in nature and does not contribute to the final merit.

Tier III – Interview/Personality Test
Candidates who clear Tier II will be called for an interview to assess their suitability for the role. It includes evaluation of personality, communication skills, and decision-making ability.
