Short Information: The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) will issue the admit cards for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2025 for Group C posts through an online mode. The written examination for Group C under CET 2025 is scheduled to take place on the 26th and 27th of July, 2025, at various examination centers across the state as designated by the Commission. Eligible candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the official HSSC website, hssc.gov.in, starting from July 2025, as per Advertisement No. 01/2025.

HSSC CET Group C Exam Scheme 2025

The question paper will be set at the Senior Secondary (10+2) level, except for the subjects of Hindi and English, which will be based on the Matriculation (10th) level syllabus:-

  • Total number of Multiple Choice Questions(MCQs):100
  • Total marks: 100
  • Duration of examination: 45 Minutes
  • Syllabus: General Awareness, Computer Knowledge, Reasoning, Quantitative Ability, English
  • Language, Hindi Language, and General Knowledge of Haryana.

Haryana CET Group C Syllabus 2025

General Awareness:- 

  • The test will feature questions focused on India and its neighboring countries, with particular emphasis on topics such as History, the Indian Constitution and Polity, Art and Culture, and Geography. These sections will collectively carry a weightage of 15%.
  • General Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). (15% Weightage)

Reasoning:-

  • The reasoning section includes topics such as alphabetical order, number series, coding-decoding, direction and distance, order and ranking, blood relations, analogies, classification, clock and calendar problems, mirror and water images, syllogisms, seating arrangements, inserting the missing characters, statements and assumptions, statements and conclusions, counting figures, non-verbal series, analogies, and non-verbal classification. This section generally carries a weightage of 10%.

Quantitative Ability:-

  • The mathematics section will assess knowledge of the Number System, including topics such as simplification, decimals, fractions, and number relationships. It will also include questions on LCM and HCF, ratio and proportion, percentages, square roots, averages, profit and loss, discounts, simple and compound interest, mensuration, partnership, mixtures and allegations, time and work, time and distance, as well as basic concepts from trigonometry, algebra, and geometry. This section carries a weightage of 15%.

English Language:-

  • English Grammar, Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms, Antonyms, Spellings/ Detecting misspelled words, Idioms & Phrases, Improvement of Sentences, Active/ Passive Voice of Verbs, Conversion into Direct/ Indirect narration, Shuffling of Sentence parts, tenses. (10% Weightage)

General Knowledge of Haryana:-

  • General awareness which includes History, Literature, Geography, Economy, Civics, Polity, Environment, Art, Culture, Customs, Society, and Current Affairs. Events etc. of Haryana. (25% weightage)

Hindi Language:

  • Letters, vowels, consonants, words, nouns, pronouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, number (singular/plural), gender, case (karak), tense, tatsam-tadbhav words, figures of speech (alankar), inflected and uninflected words, phrases, idioms, proverbs, sandhi (word combination), prefixes, suffixes, compounds (samas), synonyms, antonyms, and homonyms, sentence correction, punctuation marks, and one-word substitutions. This section carries a weightage of 25%.

  • At first open Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) Recruitment official website https://hssc.gov.in
  • In the bottom of Home Page under Public Notice section click on the moving link as “Download admit card for GROUP-C written examination 2025”
  • You will be redirected to admit card download page of HSSC CET Group C recruitment examination 2025.
  • In the admit card download page, enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth (DD-MM-YYYY) correctly in the specified input field.
  • Next enter Security Pin as shown in the admit card downloading page correctly to proceed further.
  • Finally click on Login button to download your admit card and save a copy in PDF or print out for future references.
