Candidates with SSLC and 3-year Diploma (with 60% marks) in relevant engineering fields and CAD proficiency are eligible. The age limit is 25 years as on 22 August 2025 (relaxations applicable). Selection will be based on a Practical Test (100 marks) using CAD software. The stipend ranges from ₹14,000 to ₹20,000 per month over the two-year training period. CSL Ship Draftsman Trainee Recruitment 2025 – Selection Process Application Scrutiny Applications will be screened based on eligibility criteria and uploaded certificates. Only eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for the next stage. Certificate Verification Shortlisted candidates must produce original documents for verification. Only those who successfully complete this stage will be allowed for the Practical Test. Practical Test (100 Marks) Candidates will be required to prepare a drawing using CAD software at CSL, Kochi. Minimum qualifying marks: UR / EWS: 50% OBC: 45% (for OBC reserved seats) SC / ST: 40% (for SC/ST reserved seats) Rank List Preparation Based on marks in the Practical Test. In case of tie, the older candidate (by age) will be ranked higher.
