Educational Qualifications of JPSC Civil Services Recruitment 2024To apply for the JPSC Civil Services Exam 2025, candidates must hold a graduate degree from a recognized university. Final-year students are not eligible unless they pass before the application deadline. For Jharkhand Yojana Service, applicants must have a degree in Commerce, Statistics, Mathematics, Geography, Agriculture, or Civil Engineering. | |||
JPSC Selection Process 2024The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) conducts a competitive examination to recruit candidates for Group A and Group B posts in the Jharkhand state government. The selection process consists of three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview. The Preliminary Examination is an objective-type screening test. It is qualifying in nature, and its marks are not counted in the final merit list. Candidates who qualify in the prelims are shortlisted for the Main Examination. The Main Examination is descriptive and carries significant weight in the final selection. Candidates who clear the mains are called for the Interview round. The Interview is conducted by a panel to assess the candidate’s personality, communication skills, and suitability for administrative roles. The final merit list is prepared based on marks obtained in the Main Examination and the Interview only. | |||
