Short Information: The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has released a new update regarding the BSSC Field Assistant Admit Card 2025. Earlier scheduled for 11th July 2025, the exam is now expected to be held on 10th August 2025 (Sunday). The admit card will be released in the End of July 2025 on the official website bssc.bihar.gov.in. It will contain details like exam date, time, venue, and important instructions. All candidates are advised to download their admit card on time and appear for the exam without fail.

Exam Pattern of BSSC Field Assistant Exam 2025

Nature of Exam: The exam will be objective and multiple-choice (वस्तुनिष्ठ एवं बहुविकल्पीय).

Total Questions: There will be a total of 150 questions.

Total Marks: 600 Marks.

Marking Scheme:

+4 marks will be awarded for every correct answer.

-1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Duration: The total duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 15 minutes.

Language of Exam: The question paper will be available in both Hindi and English. In case of any discrepancy, the questions in English will be considered definitive.

Selection Process: A preliminary exam will be conducted, after which qualified candidates (5 times the number of vacancies) will be selected for the Main Examination. A separate notification will be released for the Main Exam.
Syllabus of BSSC Field Assistant Exam 2025
The syllabus for the preliminary examination consists of a single paper on General Knowledge (सामान्य ज्ञान), which is divided into the following three sections:
Section A: General Studies (सामान्य अध्ययन)
The objective of this section is to test the candidate’s general awareness of their surroundings and its application in society. It will include questions on current events and everyday observations from a scientific perspective. Questions will specifically be asked concerning Bihar, India, and its neighboring countries.
