The ICAR AIEEA PG and AICE JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) The Entrance Examination 2025 is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The NTA, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, organises this exam for admission to postgraduate and doctoral programs in agriculture and allied sciences across ICAR-affiliated institutions. Exam Instruction

Admit Card (e-Admit Card):

• Entry to the exam center is strictly based on the e-Admit Card.
• Download it from exams.nta.ac.in/ICAR using your Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin.
• Admit cards are not sent by post. Print a clear copy with your signature, photograph, and thumb impression (same as uploaded during application).
• If unable to download, contact the NTA Helpdesk at 011-40759000 or cuet-ug@nta.ac.in with your application number and a valid photo ID (e.g., Aadhaar, Voter ID, PAN Card).
• Verify details (name, exam center, date, time) on the admit card. Report discrepancies to the Nodal Officer of the exam city center at least 48 hours before the exam.

Entry and Exit:

• Reach the exam center at least 90 minutes before the exam start time (as per admit card, typically 8:30 AM for morning shifts).
• Entry gates close 30 minutes before the exam begins (e.g., 9:30 AM for a 10:00 AM exam).
• The exam is Computer-Based Test (CBT). Candidates can leave only after completing and submitting their test on the system, as per invigilator instructions.

Prohibited Items:

• Writing materials (pens, pencils, paper) are not allowed; the center will provide necessary items.
• Electronic devices (mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, Bluetooth devices, earphones) are strictly banned in the exam hall.
• Possession of prohibited items is considered misconduct, leading to disqualification or legal action.

Additional Instructions:

• Carry a printed e-Admit Card, a valid photo ID (e.g., Aadhaar, Voter ID, PAN), and one passport-size photograph (same as in the application).
• Follow the dress code: Avoid heavy clothing, jewelry, or accessories to ensure smooth frisking.
• Familiarize yourself with the CBT interface using mock tests available on exams.nta.ac.in/ICAR.
• Report technical issues (e.g., computer glitches) to the invigilator immediately.
• Maintain silence and follow invigilator instructions during the exam.
• Check exams.nta.ac.in/ICAR for updates on exam shifts, results (expected July 2025), and counseling schedules.

• A valid Original Photo Identity Card, such as:
  • Aadhaar Card
